Sew Ewe Quilt Goes Green
August 1st through 31st will be Sew Ewe Quilt
goes "Green" month. Bring your own bag to pack
store purchases and receive a raffle ticket. One
ticket per visit. Attend the Mighty Tote class and
get three raffle tickets. Drawing will be held
September 1st. The prize will be a $10.00 gift
certificate for Sew Ewe Quilt.
Summer Classes
The summer schedule through September is
available online. There are many fun classes so
come in and sign up. The summer class schedule
can be seen online here.
Summer Fabrics
We have many new fabrics in the store for summer
including Classic Cotton’s Siberian Tigers, Benartex’
s Family Tree and Victory Garden, FabriQuilt’s Party
Ants, and Moda’s Urban Indigo, Bears Just Wanna
Have Fun, and Fresh Squeezed lines. Sunflowers
and Poppies from Exclusively Quilting and Tea Party
from RJR are now available. Shiki from In the
Beginning is an Asian pastel line of fabrics. See
them online here or come in to the store and check
out all the new lines of fabrics.

Believe it or not, it is already time for Christmas
fabrics which are arriving daily with many more
expected over the next few weeks. Come in and
start browsing for those Christmas projects.

Blocks of the Month 2008
Reminder that The Many Designs of Friendship
(Bees Knees) block of the month will meets on the
first Saturday of each month at 9am or 10am. You
may attend either session.
For those quilting the Antique Christmas Memories
blocks, the next fabric kits are available so come in
and pick those up.
For either Block of the Month, there is still time to
join if you are interested. Contact Nancy for more
information and check for more details here.
Ruth B McDowell Coming In August
Our Ruth McDowell class is full. If you haven't
received the supply list, please come to the store
or contact Nancy. We are accepting names for a

Charity Quilts:
We are working on charity quilts for Kaleidoscope in Byron. We'll
be making simple blocks for lap quilts. Fabrics and blocks are
available at the store. Donations of fabric are greatly
appreciated. Everyone is welcome. We can use help with cutting
fabric, sewing the blocks, and quilting the tops. The plan is that
we'll stitch in the ditch as much as possible to complete the quilts.
The group usually meets on the first Wednesday of each month
(unless there is a holiday conflict) from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
