9th and 16th uses a large focal fabric.
Class Added:
Patchwork Apron with Sara Trail
Sunday, July 19th, 12:00pm to 4:00pm
Kids Class 10 and up
This class is for all the girls out there who want to
learn to sew an easy pattern This is a beginning
class. The girls will be making an apron from Sara's
book Sewing With Sara. You can make a child's
apron or an adult apron using a theme fabric and
four accent fabrics. Sara is an experienced quilter
who began quilting at the age of fourteen and has
been teaching friends to sew for a couple of years.
Call the store to join this class or ask any
questions you may have.
Cost: $25.00 Plus cost of book
Christmas and Holiday Fabrics
It’s time to plan those Fall and Christmas projects.
Christmas fabrics are continuing to arrive and
pictures will be posted on the website before the
Christmas in July Sale. They will be available for
purchase at the beginning of July.
We will be holding our annual Christmas in July
Sale from Thursday, July 16th thru Saturday, July
18th. This will be a great opportunity to see the
new lines of holiday fabrics. Fall, Halloween, and
Christmas fabrics will be on sale during this annual
event.
Upcoming Events
Mark your calendars for the ‘Jingle Bell Hop’ which
takes place Thursday, November 19, thru Sunday
November 22. The quilt color scheme for this year
is red and white. I’m working on the shop hop quilt
and should have it complete and on display in the
store by the middle of July.
CORRECTION:
The Delta Quilters Quilt Show will be on Saturday,
October 24th, 10:00-5:00 and Sunday, October
25th 10:00-4:00. (NOT on October 20th and 21st
as previously published). We will have a booth at
this show so watch for more details in our fall
newsletter.

Charity Quilts:
We are working on charity quilts for Kaleidoscope in Byron. We'll
be making simple blocks for lap quilts. Fabrics and blocks are
available at the store. Donations of fabric are greatly
appreciated. Everyone is welcome. We can use help with cutting
fabric, sewing the blocks, and quilting the tops. The plan is that
we'll stitch in the ditch as much as possible to complete the quilts.
The group usually meets on the first Wednesday of each month
(unless there is a holiday conflict) from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
