The fall schedule has classes that are geared toward holiday gifts. They are simple and fun to make. View the
fall schedule online at http://www.sewewequilt.com/classes.html

Our Fifth Anniversary Sale will be Friday and Saturday, September 19th and 20th. The format has changed.
All regularly priced fabrics, books, and patterns will be 30% off.  For fabric, this includes fat quarters, bolt
ends, kits, charms, jelly rolls, and layer cakes.  Gift items and notions, which include batting, stabilizers, and
thread, will not be on sale.  There will be a drawing for a basket of goodies.

The Ruth McDowell workshop was a great success.  Some of the finished projects will be displayed in the
store as people complete their projects.

For everyone who is making the Antique Christmas Memories Quilt, Stephanie has scheduled a class to
resolve problems, discuss techniques, and review any changes that she made to improve the quilt.  She will
also discuss different methods of embellishing.  The completed quilt is hanging at the store for you to come in
and check out.  There is one kit available if anyone is interested in completing a Christmas quilt.

Good news for those making the Flights of Fancy Quilt, the Lakehouse background fabric has finally arrived!

The winner of the SEQ Goes Green Raffle is Colleen Firkins!  Congratulations, Colleen.  Thanks to everyone for
trying to reduce our consumption of bags.  Let’s keep up the good work.

Be sure to check the website regularly.  We are always adding new items to the store.  Also, we will be
participating in an Internet Shop Hop for the entire month of October.  Check the website for more
information on the shop hop.

Mark your calendar!  The Jingle Bell Shop Hop is Thursday November 13th through Sunday November 17th.
Eleven stores will be participating and each store will have a quick gift idea for the holidays.

Our store hours are: Monday 10:00 – 5:30, Tuesday 10:00 – 8:30, Wednesday through Friday 10:00 – 5:30,
and Saturday 10:00 - 5:00.  As a reminder, everyone is welcome to join us Tuesday evenings for open sewing
from 6:00pm - 8:30pm.  Just bring your current project and have fun!

Happy Sewing,
Nancy
