Dear Quilting Friends,

Can you believe that Sew Ewe Quilt is celebrating its’ sixth anniversary this month? Each year, we
celebrate with our Anniversary Sale. This year’s sale dates are Thursday, September 17th
through Sunday, September 20th. Yes, we will be open on Sunday for the sale. Hours for all four
days are from 10:00am until 5:30pm. Details on the sale items are listed at the end of this
newsletter. They can also be viewed on our website at www.sewewequilt.com.

The new fall class schedule is now available. All classes are listed on our website at http://www.
sewewequilt.com/classes.html or you can pick up a hardcopy in the store. The fall schedule is
geared toward holiday gifts and decorations.  There are several different styles of table runners, a
wall hanging, purses, and no sew snowflakes. There is even a FREE class in November. We are
offering the Starlight Starbright class as a Customer Appreciation Class. It is being taught by Nina
Braithwait and Carmen Franklin on Saturday, November 28th. See the details in our class listing.
October is purse month.  There are three purse classes including a huge tote bag, a designer
bag, and a bag which can be made in four sizes for different uses. If you have been participating
in the Block of the Month Chelsea Garden, please check the class notes in the class schedule. Our
last meeting is Saturday, October 3, from 9:00am to 10:00am. There are lots of new classes, so
be sure to check out the schedule. Come in and see the class samples in our store or check our
website for pictures.

Many new fabrics have arrived. A few of these include Panache from Moda, Bears Got Game from
Moda, and Nuance from Benartex. A full line of vegetable and fruit fabrics will be arriving in
October. This line is called Farmer John’s Market and is offered by Fabri-Quilt. A sampling of these
lines can be viewed in the email newsletter or online on our website at www.sewewequilt.com.

The Delta Quilters Quilt Show is coming October 24th and 25th to the Contra Costa County
Fairgrounds in Antioch. This year’s featured artist is Freddy Moran. There will be many quilts on
display, a vendor mall, free demonstrations, door prizes, and refreshments. We will be hosting a
booth, so come and say hello. The fair hours are Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm.
Admission is $7.00 and parking is free.

The Jingle Bell Shop Hop for 2009 runs from Thursday, November 19th through Sunday,
November 22nd. It’s a wonderful time of the year to get a jump on all your holiday shopping and
gift giving. Join fourteen fantastic Northern California shops for four great shopping days and a
chance to win a holiday shopping spree. Shop Hop hours are Thursday through Saturday 9am-
6pm and Sunday 10am-4pm.

Please note our holiday hours. We will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, November 26th, Christmas
Day, December 25th, and New Years Day, January 1st. We will close at 2:00pm on the day before
Thanksgiving, November 25th, and the day before Christmas, December 24th.

Our annual Year End Blow Out Sale will run from Saturday, December 26th through Thursday,
December 31st including Sunday. This is our biggest sale of the year, so mark your calendar.
