Happy Spring Quilting Friends,
We are ready for spring with many new classes and new instructors. Make this the season to try a new
technique. I think you will be happy with our new offerings.

The Shop Hop was a success! We met many new customers and had a lot of fun. If you didn’t make it to the
Shop Hop you can come see us at the Amador Valley Quilters show on April 28 and 29 at the Pleasanton Fair
Grounds. We look forward to seeing you.
Have you seen our website? Our site is up and running! We have photos of lots of our quilts, and a

Beginning in April, Sew Ewe Quilt will be hosting a monthly group to make quilts for donation to Kaleidoscope
in Byron. Everyone is welcome. You must bring your sewing machine. You can bring any usable scraps and
the store will provide fabrics also. We will be making simple blocks that can be put together easily. Watch for
the date to be announced on the website, or call the store for more information.
I hope everyone is enjoying their birthday card and discount. As a reminder, the birthday discount is
intended for use by the recipient whose name appears on the card.
Please make sure to update your personal information in our computer. We would like to be able to contact
you and keep you up to date. You may call, email or use the website. We can’t send you your birthday card if
we don’t have your correct address!
Our store hours are Monday, 10:00 – 5:30, Tuesday, 10:00 – 9:00, Wednesday – Friday, 10:00 – 5:30, and
Saturday 10:00 -5:00. As a reminder, everyone is welcome to join us Tuesday evenings for open sewing from
6:00 – 9:00. Just bring your current project and have fun! If you need something when we are closed,
please feel free to call as I may be here and would be happy to help.

Quilter's March Madness Shop Hop 2007
The second annual shop hop was a great success. The winner of the Sew Ewe Quilt basket was Rich
Mendonca from River Bank. Congratulations to Rick!

Block of the Month 2007
The new Block of the Month began Saturday, March 10th. There is still time to join. See the pattern and

Empress Woo
We have received the Empress Woo fabric from Robin Pandolph. A few more pieces are coming. Come in and
check out the great pattern from Free Spirit.

On The Trail Flannel
Another new fabric line. On The Trail, featuring a wilderness motif. Great for outdoor theme quilts as well as
rag quilts. Also available are new tone on tone fabrics.

Pajama Party Coming Soon!
We will be hosting a pajama party on a Friday night in the near future. Let's get together for a night of
making pajama bottoms. Watch for the announcement online and in the store.

Other New Fabrics
Other great new lines of fabric include Ocean Songs from Laurel Birch, Garden Party from Loralie, and
Nouveau from Windham. Some of the Sanctuary frabics from Moda have arrived. We also have the plastic
coated fabric which is great for table runners and placemats. Lastly, the presewn patchwork fabric is available.
