Dear Quilting Friends,

The new spring class schedule is now available. There are several new classes and some old
favorites. Take a look and plan to take a class. You will learn great new quilting techniques. Check

There have been many requests for Mary Jane Krantzman’s classes especially Origami Tree, Tie
Purse, 4 Patch Posie, and Snowflakes. Mary Jane will be in Michigan until June. She will be
scheduling these classes for the June/July timeframe when she returns. Watch for more details in
June.

The March Madness Shop Hop for 2010 finished this weekend. It was a great success. If you were
not able to visit during the shop hop, the quilt is still on display in the store and there are a few
blocks still available for purchase.

The annual Spring Fling Sale is coming soon. This is one of our larger sales of the year. Dates will
be announced at the beginning of April. Watch the store and the website for dates and details.
The Guild of Quilters of Contra Costa County is hosting their annual quilt show on Saturday and
Sunday, March 20th and 21st. Their show is known for its variety of quilts and wearable arts.
Show times: Saturday 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday 10 am to 4 pm. Location: Centre Concord,
5298 Clayton Road, Concord, California, USA. Admission: $6 for 1 day or $10 for two days.
Please note we will be closed on Monday, May 31st for Memorial Day.
