Dear Quilting Friends,
The new summer schedule for July through September is now available. As requested by many of
you, Mary Jane Krantzman will be repeating her most popular classes. Check the schedule and
sign up early as she is only here for two months before she returns to Michigan for the fall. Many
other favorite classes are also available this summer. See the schedule on our website at

A new class has been added for June: Robin will teach a Make and Take Bag class. It is being
offered on Saturday, June 26. It is a drop in class where you can drop in anytime between 10am
and 4pm. The project is a charmed gift bag that can be used for gift cards, small gift items, or
candy. The project will take about an hour to make. You must sign up before the class. It's
$5.00 to reserve a space. You can use your own fabric or purchase a store kit. If you purchase a
kit, the cost of the class will be applied to the kit price. Each kit will make three gift bags.
Participants must bring their own sewing machine and sewing supplies.
Christmas fabrics are arriving and available for purchase. Sew Ewe Quilt will be having their annual
Christmas in July Sale. The sale will include Christmas fabrics along with Halloween and Fall fabrics.
Sale dates are July 12th thru July 17th. Watch the web site for further details after July 4th.
Again this year, Sew Ewe Quilt is a drop off site for The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition Purge
Your Stash sale. The collection dates are June 1st thru August 31st. Fabric, books, patterns,
magazines, yarn and notions can be donated. This year, the sale will be held on Saturday,
September 18, from 8:30am to 4:00pm in Livermore. The site is Our Savior Lutheran School
located at 1385 So Livermore Ave. 100% of the proceeds goes to promote cancer research.
Please help to support this organization.
The Seventh year anniversary is coming up in September. Dates will be announced in late August.
A coupon for 30% off one fabric cut is attached to this newsletter. Coupon is valid from Monday,
June 14th thru Saturday, June 19th.
Please note that the store will be closed Friday July 2nd thru Monday July 5th as I will be on
vacation. The store will reopen on Tuesday, July 6th at 10:00am. The store will also be closed on
Labor Day, Monday, September 6th.
