Quilting Friends:
We wish you a happy and safe holiday season. Thank you for your continued support in 2008.
Holiday Hours: We will close on Wednesday, December 24th at 2:00pm and reopen on Friday, December
26th at 10:00am for a Year End Blow Out Sale. The sale will begin Friday, December 26th and run through
Tuesday, December 30th. Watch for the e-mail on December 20th for more details. As part of the sale, the
store will be open on Sunday, December 28th. The store will be closed for inventory Wednesday, December
31st and Thursday, January 1st. Normal store hours will resume on January 2nd, 2009.
This class schedule contains some new and exciting class projects with skill levels for everyone from
beginning to intermediate. Check out the website and store to see all the new samples. Class schedule can

There will policy changes for 2009 starting January 1st.
Birthday cards will be mailed on the first of the month and will be honored during your birthday month only.
The one day shopping bonus will continue to be 25% off on regular priced merchandise.
The $20.00 Customer Appreciation Bonus will no longer be accepted during sales such as the Anniversary
Sale, Spring Fling, Gobble Up or Year End Blow Out Sale. If you have a birthday discount and an appreciation
bonus you can use one or the other but not both at the same time.
Save Wednesday March 4th through Sunday March 8th for the March Madness Shop Hop as we will be
participating in this great shop hop again this year.
This year’s Block of the Month will be an appliqué quilt called Chelsea Garden. There is a kit which contains all
the fabric for the front of the quilt plus enough fabric to make six accessory items. Backing fabric will be
available to complete your quilt. Space is limited as there are only fourteen kits so if you are interested
contact Nancy. An introductory meeting has been scheduled for February 7th to sign up and plan when the
class will meet. The plan is to meet for a two or three hour period to work on the blocks and help each other

Also, Mary Jane Krantzman would like to start a Twilling Club for anyone who is interested in twilling. You
would meet quarterly to work on three new designs. Twilling is an Italian embroidery knot which makes a
beautiful design. Check out the sample in the store. Contact the store if you are interested.
The newsletters and class schedules come out quarterly: the first week of March, June, September, and
December. Please be sure and check that your information in our system is correct and let us know of any
changes
Our store hours are: Monday 10:00 – 5:30, Tuesday 10:00 – 8:30, Wednesday through Friday 10:00 – 5:30,
and Saturday 10:00 - 5:00. As a reminder, everyone is welcome to join us Tuesday evenings for open sewing
from 6:00pm - 8:30pm. Just bring your current project and have fun!
